Q. I'd like to assign a streaming film for my class. How can I make sure that that assigned videos are licensed and available as needed?

Please submit a request for streaming media for a class using the Course Reserves Request Form (linked below).

Already have a link to a streaming video for your class? Check your links periodically to find out if the movies are still available. This is a standard good practice with all streaming videos, every semester. Film platforms like Kanopy occasionally lose licensing rights for videos, licenses expire, and URLs change. Some streaming platforms like Swank list the dates available for the film in the OneSearch item record.

If you notice that a Kanopy or Swank video you've assigned is not available, and you have not filled out a course reserves form, please do so, and the course reserves team will work on getting access as soon as possible. If you did already fill out the form, and your film is still not accessible, please reach out to the course reserves team at reserves@uark.edu for assistance.
